I act as Chief IP Counsel to two local companies in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. My daily work life involves drafting patent and trademark applications, responses to Office actions, patent and trademark research and analysis, providing freedom to operate, patentability and registrability opinions, and managing IP portfolios, among other things.
My personal interests include playing singles and doubles squash. I compete at the club, district, provincial and national levels, and earned the title of Canadian Singles Squash Champion in the 50+ age bracket in 2023.
